Rules and Guidelines
So thanks to my amazing best friend Olivia, I have the full amount needed to pay for the FIT tuition fee. This update is just to inform the couple of people on here waiting for commissions and art trades from me that it's going to be a little while longer. I feel bad for doing this, but I just got a new tattoo on my right wrist yesterday and it's going to be a couple days before I can really start drawing again (my wrist is sore and swollen and I don't want to get the ointment all over my tablet (I tend to lean my wrist when I draw)). So it'll be at least three days before I can really start drawing again. Sorry DX
The club will be reopened soon, and you will be able to submit deviations then. 
But of course there are always the rules......

First of all, what is a textured brush? And why should you bother with it when you can just slap a nice texture over your painting to make it look more interesting?

Alright, let's start at the beginning. "Textured brush" is a brush created out of a texture, so basically a texture in brush-form. Whether it's made with help of a pre-existing image (see texture above) or some wild scribbling on your tablet (like the example brush above) doesn't matter. Texture + select + define brush = texture

Hello, everyone! Most of you probably remember last January when my little sister Katie was hospitalized for pneumonia and I hosted an event encouraging people to draw pictures for her. It was an overwhelming success, and Katie was thrilled when Dad showed her the pictures in the hospital.
During the project, *FARTYTREEFROG and *Freecakebadges were kind enough to donate 3,000 points for Katie (in total). I'm using these points to pull together this storybook project.
